“Oh I had a Quest Bar, I’m not hungry.”

… grl plz.

Now I’m not saying that protein bars are inherently evil (although Quest does do very odd things to my stomach), but I AM saying that if you’re a relatively active woman, a single protein bar is NOT enough food to be a meal.

Neither is the single serving of almonds.

Neither is the salad full of tons of veggies but no dressing because “I don’t like dressing” (aka that’s too many calories).

I’m telling you this because I used to think that eating 1200 calories a day was right.

I used to eat nothing but raw veggies, lean protein, and vegetable oils, because that’s what I was told was “healthy.” Even if I was still hungry after my lunch, or constantly bloated, or chain-chewing gum to get through to my next meal.

I was wrong. And if you’re constantly thinking about your next meal even while you’re munching on your Quest bar, I think you know that you’re wrong, too.

Enough is enough. You’ve tried it all before. You’ve failed enough times. You have all the proof you need that your diet isn’t working. You need something more, and it exists.

My Gut Instinct Group coaching program will help you learn to eat more food without fear, both in your own kitchen and out at restaurants. And if you’re nodding along with this post, I KNOW you should schedule your Free Discovery Call with me to see if it’d be a good match.

Until then, you can download my free guide – 3 “Healthy” Things That Are Totally Wrecking Your Gut – down below! And you KNOW that Quest bars are something that show up on that list.
