Suffering From Seasonal Allergies? Your Gut Could Be To Blame.

This is something that I learned about allergies in my Immune Imbalances class a few weeks ago, and I find it completely fascinating.

Jordan (my fiance) has ALWAYS had terrible spring allergies. He used to have to get allergy shots every year as a kid because they were so awful. He’s allergic to just about everything you can be allergic to, except for feathers for some odd reason!

I never really had issues with allergies growing up other than some tiny sniffles in the fall because of goldenrod blooming, like my dad.

Fast forward, and we got together in 2016. Suddenly I had RIDICULOUS spring allergies. If I wasn’t taking Allegra, I was having 10 minute long sneezing fits every time I went outside. And I couldn’t breathe out my nose from April to June.

And fast forward AGAIN to this year, he has allergies just as bad as always, and I have NONE. Zilch. Can breathe through my nose just fine, no sneezing fits. The only tiny symptom I’ve had so far is some eye itchiness at night, and that’s not even every night.

Do you want to know the one thing I changed? I’ve been taking Seed Daily Synbiotic since last September!

I genuinely think that taking this probiotic has “cured” me of my allergies, and I’m now going to get Jordan to start taking them too 😝 I’ve been taking quercetin as well preventatively, but I haven’t had to touch the Allegra at all this year!

Probably because a diverse microbiome is associated with way fewer allergies, and Seed is packed full of 24-clinically and scientifically studied probiotic strains to help boost your gut’s diversity.

Totally amazing right?!

If you’re looking for a good probiotic/prebiotic, I’d highly recommend Seed & you can use code IPW15 to save some money on it too!

Imperfectly, Paige
